Patient Advocates Nurseline is the first step in helping our members navigate the healthcare system. The Nurseline fields all initial calls regarding upcoming Member procedures for pre-notification as well as review for medical appropriateness. The Nurses provide continued discharge planning and follow-up calls for members after surgeries, imaging, and some outpatient procedures to help ensure good outcomes and coordinate care.
Our Nurseline team is available to take member calls regarding upcoming procedures, general medical questions, connecting Members with case management services, and referrals to wellness programs as needed.
Remember that members must call the Nurseline 7 days prior to any surgical and/or endoscopic procedure or scheduled hospital stay. Members must call Nurseline within 24 hours of any emergency hospital admission including Labor and Delivery.
